Jason matriculated in 1990, and then enrolled at the University of Virginia, from which he graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in both drama and rhetoric and communication studies in 1994 he continued his education at Temple University in Philadelphia, wanting to graduate with a Master of Fine Arts degree and become a lawyer, however, Jason quit to focus on acting, although eventually returning to college and graduating with his MFA degree.
